Lockdown and Other Obstacles

Although Zach and I could have gotten a fair amount of work done, missing several classes was beginning to prove to be a formidable obstacle in our planning. First off, I missed a very important class because of a SkillsUSA regionals competition. This class explained, by other accounts, the entire Cambridge Portfolio project. For the first week, I had not completed any blogs because of this lack on knowledge, and it was mainly my mistake because I did not properly read the instructions online. 

Another important reason why I was oblivious was because of unprecented events that happened in my school, Cypress Bay. Shotgun shells had been found in the boys' locker room not only once, but twice. As a result, we were on lockdown and I missed another important class of blog work, but only during the first lockdown. The second lockdown happened today, and although my class only had one hour, we conducted a productive group meeting and talked about the current state of our school and its safety.

At any rate, I have continued on and started making up my blogs, and I intend to do many more as soon as I meet with Zach again. We are planning to establish the plot next time we see each other, while also starting and hopefully finishing the storyboard next week. Moving forward, I will make sure to check the blogging schedule and complete all my blogs with the allocated time.
